INSITE

INSITE, a monthly B2B design magazine, was being brought-out in collaboration with India’s premier body of interior architects – Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) between 2008 and 2019. In all, AIM published 118 issues of this magazine in a span of 12 years. This premier magazine on interior architecture was positioned as a ready reckoner for pan-India fraternity of designers in understanding latest trends, products, services, projects and so on. At the same time, it was conceived as a platform for interaction amongst professionals for emerging technologies of serious concern like sustainable architecture, energy efficiency, renewable energy, water management, urban planning, smart buildings and so on.

FSAI Journal

FSAI Journal was the official publication of the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI) being brought out by AIM under a collaborative arrangement. This B2B publication aimed at providing latest and updated information on products and technologies related to fire protection, life safety, loss prevention, risk management, surveillance, security, integrated building management systems, cyber security and so on, from the world over. Thanks to its purely technical contents and business-like presentation, it had become a knowledge-sharing platform and idea-exchange for the ‘movers & shakers’ of fire safety and security industry in the country, in a very short time!

Indian Plumbing Today (IPT)

Mr. Kamal Khokhani collaborated with the Indian Plumbing Association to bring out India’s pioneering publication totally devoted plumbing – Indian Plumbing Today (IPT) in the year 2000. It was started as quarterly, then it became bi-monthly and ultimately, it became monthly publication in 2006. It highlighted one of the most crucial and yet, one of the most neglected aspects of building industry – Plumbing! With a continuous process of refinement, the magazine became the most effective and vocal tool for propagation of the concept ‘Better Plumbing for Better Living’ in the country. It’s a matter of great pride and gratification that till the time the association of AIM and IPA was discontinued in 2015, this magazine was considered to be one of the best plumbing publications in the world!

Plumbing Directory of India (PDI)

During its association with IPA, Akar InfoMedia (AIM) had brought out six successful editions of the only organised database of plumbing professionals – Plumbing Directory of India (PDI) and all of them were well received. PDI was started when there was no such compilation available in the country, way back in 2006. All these directories have become instrumental in connecting the players of Indian plumbing industry with that of Indian building industry, be it realtors, consultants, architects, engineers, developers, city managers, environmental consultants, hydraulic engineers and so on.

Best of IPT

Best of IPT is a unique publication which carried selected best articles published in Indian Plumbing Today (IPT) between 2002 and 2010. Comprising of 120 articles in 15 broad categories and running into 600 pages, this was indeed a ‘Collector’s Issue’. It was released on second World Plumbing Day – 11th March 2011 at Bengaluru.

Construction Journal of India

AIM published Construction Journal of India, better known as CJI, between 2006 and 2009. The publication used to cover entire spectrum of activities under the construction business on a pan-India scale. It provided latest and authenticated information on construction activities, materials, technologies, equipment and so on. It was a user-friendly publication ushering information on ‘anything’ and ‘everything’ related construction and infrastructure business in the country.

GIHED Connect

GIHED Connect was a magazine published by AIM, under a collaborative arrangement with the Gujarat Institute of Housing & Estate Developers (GIHED). This magazine used to focus real estate scenario of Gujarat. It also was aimed at providing information on opportunities, emerging construction technologies, innovative building materials and also, leading lights of Gujarat’s real estate sector.

Structural Engineering Digest

Structural Engineering Digest was being brought out jointly by AIM and the Indian Association of Structural Engineering (IASE) between …… and …….. This bi-monthly magazine was aimed at fulfilling information-needs on the applied engineering skills of structural engineering designs. With its strong editorial contents, SED became a ‘must read’ publication for structural engineers, builders, infrastructure developers, project managers, consulting engineers, architects, urban planners and so on.

StoneEdge India

AIM had published a monthly magazine on dimension stone industry as Publishing Partner to the Centre for Development Stones – CDOS, set up by Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur between 2007 and 2009. This magazine was conceived as a platform for dissemination of information related to latest technologies in mining, cutting, polishing and processing natural dimension stones. It also covered the information on natural stones, mining technologies, O&M of Equipment, stone artefacts, environmental issues, international scenario, export opportunities and so on.

GCCI Bulletin

AIM had collaborated with Gujarat’s apex body of industry and commerce – Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) to re-launch its monthly magazine – GCCI Bulletin, in a totally new avatar. In a short span of time, AIM could bring in the transformation with diverse and information-rich contents and eye-catching creative layouts.
